We have hosting servers located in various locatiuons within the U.K. and U.S.A.
All our shared hosting accounts are served from U.K. based servers and our Virtual Private Servers are located in both U.K and U.S.A. anyone wanting a V.P.S will have an option during checkout to choose their desired server location.
Disk space is the amount of memorery space allocated on our servers to host your website. Every single letter on your website has to be stored somewhere on our web hosting server. Each letter is one byte, and a megabyte is roughly one million bytes. HTML pages are usually very small, but it is the extra images, scripts, and even databases that can take up large amounts of disk space.
Data Transfer or Bandwidth is the amount of data our server will allow your site to send in a month. Transfer is usually measured in gigabytes – billions of bytes. Once you go over your monthly limit a host may either shut your site down for the remainder of the month or it can charge you ‘overage.’ This overcharge is usually about £1.00-£3.00 per extra gigabyte of transfer trhat you have used.
With all A Plus Hosts hosting accounts, you can upload the files that make your web site in many ways, the most popular methods are by using your hosting cpanel or a FTP software such as FileZilla.
When you purchase a hosting account from A Plus Hosts, you will be sent an email containing all your hosting account details including your cpanel login and FTP account details.
There are other ways to upload your site such as using SSH or uploading files through your browser.
With A Plus Hosts, registering your domain name is very easy.
Using our Domain Checker facility, the first thing to do is to make sure that the domain you want is currently available, just type in the domain name and tld extension(s) into the domain checker box and click ‘go’ and the rsults will appear highlighting if the required domain name is available.
If the domain hasn’t already been registered then just click the buy now button and input your details then go through the checkout process and A Plus Hosts will automatically register the domain for you.

When you sign up for a hosting account with A Plus Hosts, your hosting account will be setup immediately after payment when signing up.
After completing the signing up and check-out process, you will then automatically receive an email titled ‘Welcome to A Plus Hosts’ that contains all of your hosting account details, such as your FTP and cPanel log in details and email server details.
